Mack Real Estate Group (MREG) is expanding in Phoenix, including new acquisition and development activity in the market. The New York-based company is also adding key new hires in Phoenix and relocating the headquarters of its affiliated national property management business to Phoenix from Boston.
Craig Henig was named Executive Director, overseeing the firm’s Phoenix activities. He previously served at another Mack family business that has been investing and developing industrial and office properties in Phoenix since 1987 and held senior-level positions at CBRE. Henig is the son of Ralph Henig, who with William Mack, established The Mack Company presence in Arizona more than 30 years ago.
MREG closed on construction financing and broke ground on a 170-unit, Class A apartment community in Scottsdale. A few weeks earlier the company acquired of The Hub at Goodyear, a new, 793,862-square-foot industrial facility located in Goodyear.
Robert J. Matthews joined Mack Property Management as SVP from CBRE, Inc.
