TILT completes buy of Blind Bay property eyed for U.S. Customs and Border Safety web site | Jefferson County

FISHERS LANDING — The Thousand Islands Land Belief has formally completed its buy of the Blind Bay property that U.S. Customs and Border Safety needs to construct a Border Patrol station on.

The 20.5 acre property between Route 12 and the St. Lawrence River on Blind Bay is now formally owned by the conservation group, who pledge to maintain all of the properties they buy ‘ceaselessly wild,’ free from improvement.
