ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — Rochester Mayor Beautiful Warren is scheduled to go on trial this week together with two associates on expenses they broke marketing campaign finance guidelines throughout her 2017 reelection marketing campaign.
Warren, marketing campaign treasurer Albert Jones Jr. and Rosiland Brooks-Harris, the town’s finance director and treasurer of a pro-Warren political motion committee, are charged with exceeding marketing campaign finance limits by illegally shifting cash between her marketing campaign committee and the now-defunct PAC.
Warren misplaced her reelection marketing campaign when she was defeated within the Democratic major by Metropolis Councilmember Malik Evans and is scheduled to depart workplace in January. A conviction on one of many two felony counts she faces would require that she be faraway from workplace, with Deputy Mayor James Smith taking up for the rest of her time period.
